Welcome to BaliRoadBike, the first and only road bike tour operator in Bali.
At BaliRoadBike we offer services for cyclists, thought by cyclists.
Choose one of our tours and enjoy an experience you'll never forget. Intended to meet anybody's level or cycling ability, from recreational cyclists to serious amateurs, our tours go from a minimum of 60km to a maximum of 240km, with total climbing between 500m and 4000m. Whether you are preparing your next triathlon or granfondo, or you want to keep in shape during your holiday in Bali, or just want to take part in one of the most awesome ways of visiting and living the island of Bali and enjoy it from a different perspective, we have a tour that is just right for you.
At BaliRoadBike we want you to have fun and enjoy your tour stress-free. Therefore we never have more than three or four riders on the road at the same time, and multiple guides so nobody is left behind.
No need to rush to keep up with the others, no need to stop to wait for the others.
This is what makes us unique. A quality, enjoyable, fun ride at the pace you decide!!!

All our tours leave
from our shop in Jalan Kajeng at 7am. Later start is possible upon agreement.
You will receive: a quality road bike, helmet, water and electrolytes, sports bars and snacks, cycling guidance, and insurance up to Rp100.000.000
*** Please note our current insurance policy doesn't cover riders older than 60 years ***
Since we focus on quality, we DO NOT ride in the busiest areas of Bali, as listed below:
Seminyak, Kuta, Legian, Kerobokan, Canggu, Jimbaran, Uluwatu, Nusa Dua
If you are staying in any of the above areas and want to ride with us, you must come to Ubud. The transfer cost is much less than the traffic, pollution, noise, and risks involved with cycling there.

To book a tour, just click on the tour's description and select a day, or join an already scheduled tour. In the comment form please indicate the size of the bike needed, and the type of pedals used.
If you don't want to join others and want to go solo in any given day, let us know and we'll see what we can do. This may be subject to a surcharge.

Alternative starting point: If you don't want to come to Ubud, we might be able to come to you. However, not all locations in Bali are suitable as starting points, and keep in mind that this is subject to a fee. Inquire for more information by giving us all details
Pick-up: BaliRoadBike offers free pick-up from Ubud and surrounding areas. If you are in another area you can check our return transfer rates in the reservation box below
Support car: for maximum peace of mind. Ideal for longer tours,
and for tours where you fear you could be needing a ride in the car because of
exhaustion. Add Rp400.000
regardless of the distance
Breakfast: have breakfast at The Samara Villas, our partner hotel, and recharge with a healthy oatmeal, or carboload with some pasta, or go lean with a nice bowl of fresh fruit topped with honey. Cost according to menu.
Lunch: recharge with a nice meal after the ride to immediately get back the lost energy. Or splurge on a pizza for recovery. Cost according to menu.
Choose between Dolce Arancia, the best Italian restaurant in town, or The Samara Villas, with free use of the swimming pool if you stay for lunch

Since we are here for you, you are in total control of your time and can customize your own tour based on your preferences. We can discuss all details and make the necessary arrangements so that you can have the ride that you want. Please tell us as many details that you can, such as distance and climbing, starting and ending point, and destinations to touch. This may be subject to a surcharge.

July 2019 Tours of East and West Indonesia
BaliRoadBike is collecting applications for its 2019 Tour of Indonesia, with departures from Ubud, Bali to:
East - Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa, Flores
West - Bali, Java, Sumatra
Approximate total distance covered will be around 1000km to 1500km, and duration of 10nights/11days. The tours will include: accommodation, boat/air transfers, luggage transfers, all meals, technical and medical support, insurance, cycling guidance, ride certificate, medal and party at the end.
